At the baseball-themed Bruins of the Year event on April 21, fifth grade teacher Kimberly Hester, Hoover's Teacher of the Year, was honored.
Second grade teacher Victoria DeBoe was recognized as the Rising Star Teacher at Hoover.
Teacher assistant Tara Silver was recognized as Hoover's Classified Person of the Year.
