At the baseball-themed Bruins of the Year event on April 23, 2026, Hoover Kindergarten teacher Beth Lyon was recognized as the school's Teacher of the Year. She was introduced by student Claire Stage.
Special Education teacher Hailey Shaddick was honored as the school's Rising Star Teacher, an award for teachers with one to four years of experience.
Jessica Goforth was honored as Hoover's Classified Person of the Year.
